Vietnam explores measuring the economic value of World Heritage
Vietnam's Cultural Heritage Department sought feedback on September 11 on a plan to measure the total economic value of World Heritage sites. The aim is to support management, resource allocation and sustainable conservation with data.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong called for attention to capacity, overcrowding and conservation needs. Valuation is intended as a management tool rather than a monetary ranking of cultural significance.
