Vietnam's sports authorities plan to propose Labour Order recognition for sepak takraw and karate teams and individuals following their Asian Games achievements. The two sports supplied all three of Vietnam's gold medals: two in sepak takraw and one in women's team kata. The proposal seeks to recognise the athletes' and teams' contributions. It remains a proposed honour, rather than an approved decoration or an award ceremony that has already taken place.
