Hong Kong actor Lui Yu-yeung died in Guangzhou on September 7 at 62, VnExpress reported, citing St Headline. His family announced the news four days later; the report said he had undergone treatment for stomach cancer over several years.
A graduate of TVB's training program, he worked as a presenter and actor. Audiences particularly associated him with horror films, including the Troublesome Night series.
He reduced his acting work from the 2010s and moved into business. His mix of comic timing and supernatural roles gave him a distinctive screen identity.
