Vietnam will host Chinese Taipei and Kyrgyzstan in a friendly tournament at Thiên Trường from 11–15 November, VFF announced on 13 October. Vietnam face Chinese Taipei on 11 November and Kyrgyzstan on 15 November, with the visitors meeting on 13 November. The single round-robin event supports squad assessment before the 2027 Asian Cup. Vietnam are expected to assemble on 9 November; the announcement does not confirm a player list.
