Vietnam's football federation and local organisers met on 15 October to prepare an international friendly tournament at Thiên Trường Stadium in Ninh Bình province. According to the VFF, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Kyrgyzstan are scheduled to take part from 11 to 15 November as the national team builds towards further international commitments.

Three fixtures are planned

The announced programme has Vietnam facing Chinese Taipei at 19:00 on 11 November and Kyrgyzstan at 19:00 on 15 November. The visiting teams are scheduled to meet at the same time on 13 November, also at Thiên Trường.

Those dates describe forthcoming fixtures, rather than completed matches. The federation regards the November FIFA Days programme as an opportunity to review personnel and improve preparation for the 2027 Asian Cup finals.

At the meeting, VFF general secretary Nguyễn Văn Phú acknowledged the province's support and experience of hosting senior internationals. He cited the Vietnam–Malaysia Asian Cup qualifier in March as part of that organisational background.

Responsibilities are being assigned

The discussions covered facilities, security, medical arrangements, logistics, communications and sponsorship. Federation departments and local agencies reviewed responsibilities, coordination points and deadlines before the tournament begins.

Ninh Bình's culture and sports representatives asked participating units to complete their assigned work and maintain close contact with the federation. Safe match operations, suitable conditions for the teams and provision for supporters form the practical focus of that cooperation.

The meeting establishes an organisational step towards the November programme. It does not provide a result from any of the planned games or determine how Vietnam will perform at the subsequent Asian finals.
