The makers of “Duong toi thanh Thang Long” have used AI to revise large-scale scenes before its repeat broadcast began on VTV3 on October 5. VnExpress reports that real footage was combined with AI-generated imagery to expand settings and crowds. Assistant director Ta Huy Cuong said one battle sequence took nearly 20 days to complete. The work forms part of revisions to visual effects and production design in the historical drama, whose reconstructed scenes should not be treated as documentary footage of historical events.
