FIBA has invited fans to vote after highlighting five performances from the opening round of EuroLeague Women 2026/27. Stephanie Mavunga, Coline Franchelin, Brianna Fraser, Mariona Ortiz and Trinity San Antonio feature in the announcement, which does not name a completed weekly winner.
Strong returns accompany team victories
Mavunga helped Emlak Konut claim their first Regular Season win, 85-61 against Lublin. She produced 29 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks for an efficiency valuation of 37.
Franchelin supplied 12 points and 13 assists in Flammes Carolo's 98-66 victory over Rapid Bucuresti, adding three rebounds and three steals.
Fraser scored 21 on nine-of-eleven shooting as Praha defeated Bourges 76-55. She also contributed four rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
Both sides of Zaragoza–Landes are represented
Ortiz delivered 15 assists in Zaragoza's 76-75 overtime win against Basket Landes, alongside eight points, three rebounds and two steals.
San Antonio led the losing side with 23 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Her inclusion shows that individual recognition is not restricted to players from winning teams.
The candidates offer different combinations of scoring, playmaking and rebounding. Fans are being invited to weigh those contributions, and no winner is established by the shortlist itself.
This announcement concerns EuroLeague Women. It remains separate from the Basketball Champions League and FIBA Europe Cup polls taking place during the same week, which feature different players and independent selection processes.
