FIBA has opened a fan vote for outstanding performances from the first EuroCup Women game day. Schaquilla Nunn, Kennedy Burke, Julianna Okosun, Stella Colas and Tyia Singleton are the five candidates, with no winner announced.
Contributions in winning performances
Nunn recorded an efficiency of 33 as Benfica beat Saarlouis Royals 69-65, supplying 26 points, 12 rebounds and two assists.
Burke had 23 points, ten rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in Mersin's 72-59 win over Sleza Wroclaw.
Colas contributed 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as Villeneuve d'Ascq defeated Brandys 92-51. She approached a triple-double without reaching ten assists.
Losing teams also supply candidates
Okosun produced 23 points and 21 rebounds for GEAS Basket in a 78-75 defeat at Castors Braine. Her inclusion shows that individual assessment is not restricted to winning sides.
Singleton scored 22, collected nine rebounds and blocked three shots for Panserraikos in an 87-63 loss to Gorzow. She made six of seven three-point attempts.
FIBA says all five reached at least 30 in efficiency. That is a combined performance measure, not a team's probability of winning.
Fans are now invited to choose among the shortlist. A leading statistic or double-double does not itself establish the poll result.
The announcement belongs to EuroCup Women, separate from the EuroLeague Women, BCL and FIBA Europe Cup selections. Its completed game results support a new individual vote, with the eventual honour still requiring a separate outcome.
