Nearly 2,000 people registered for a smoke-free environment run at Hanoi's Thống Nhất Park on 11 October. The route covered almost three kilometres around Bảy Mẫu Lake. Thanh Niên reports that Vietnam Women's Newspaper and the Health Ministry's disease prevention fund organised the event. It combined physical activity with a community message encouraging families to stay active and maintain smoke-free shared spaces.
