Informal dollar quotes exceed bank rates on 11 October
Informal currency exchange outlets in central Ho Chi Minh City quoted approximately VND 25,900 to buy one US dollar and VND 26,200 to sell it on the afternoon of 11 October, VnExpress reported.

Informal currency exchange outlets in central Ho Chi Minh City quoted approximately VND 25,900 to buy one US dollar and VND 26,200 to sell it on the afternoon of 11 October, VnExpress reported. The latest major-bank quotes cited were VND 25,660 and VND 26,070 respectively. The informal selling rate was therefore about VND 130 higher. These figures describe the specified channels and observation time on 11 October.
