Hai Phong came from behind to beat SHB Da Nang 5–1 at Chi Lang on October 17 in round four of the 2026/27 V.League. Joel Tagueu scored a first-half hat-trick before Milan Makaric added two late goals, Tuoi Tre reported.

Hai Phong moved to six points from four matches. Da Nang remained on three after another defeat following its previous loss to Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Tagueu transforms the first half

Bryan Ly opened the scoring in the seventeenth minute, accelerating onto a through ball and beating Nguyen Van Toan. Hai Phong overturned that advantage with three goals between minutes twenty-five and forty-one.

Tagueu headed in Ngoc Tu's cross, then moved past Matias to score again in the thirtieth minute. His third completed the turnaround before half-time.

Makaric also struck the crossbar. Da Nang coach Le Duc Tuan introduced Minh Quang for Phan Van Long, while Que Ngoc Hai hit a post with a free kick.

Counterattacks finish the contest

The hosts pushed forward after the interval but missed opportunities, including Minh Quang's effort over the bar in the seventy-fifth minute. Bringing on Dinh Duy did not produce a response.

Makaric instead scored against his former club in the eightieth minute and third minute of stoppage time, beating Bui Tien Dung in one-on-one situations. VAR confirmed the fourth Hai Phong goal was onside, according to the report.

Tuoi Tre placed Hai Phong sixth and Da Nang thirteenth of fourteen teams at publication. Those positions are provisional; the completed result is the visitors' four-goal victory.
