Miss Vietnam 2026 organisers say they received nearly 4,000 questions from readers by October 31. Tuổi Trẻ reports the figure from a November 3 press conference ahead of the final in Hải Phòng on November 7. It counts questions, not unique contributors.

Bringing public topics into the final

Organising chief Phùng Công Sưởng, editor-in-chief of Tiền Phong, said appearance should be considered alongside knowledge, cultural understanding, conduct and social contribution. The response segment therefore forms part of a broader assessment.

He reported roughly 150 questions a day across more than three weeks. Topics include artificial intelligence, social media, gender equality, pressure on young people, compassion, community responsibility and cultural identity. Some submissions ask contestants to make choices in specific situations.

Receiving a question does not mean it will be used. The judging process still involves selecting material for the contestants.

The remaining selection stages

Twenty-five finalists are due to appear at Danh Vọng Square in the Đồi Rồng tourism complex in Đồ Sơn. The programme includes áo dài, swimwear, eveningwear and group performances, while earlier ambassador challenges and preparation also contribute to the assessment.

The planned progression is through groups of 15, ten and five, with the last five answering questions before the main titles are announced.

The next step is to turn selected public submissions into the final's challenges. The organisers' participation figures describe input to that process, not the quality of answers or the competition's eventual result.
