More than 500 players took part in a Ho Chi Minh City pickleball event supporting Vietnam's action month for older people, SGGP reported. Matches were scheduled for October 2–3 at D-Joy in Tan My ward. The competition belongs to a wider community sports programme involving nearly 2,000 coaches and athletes across several disciplines. It offers opportunities for social exchange and encourages middle-aged and older residents to remain active.
