The Hanoi Open Cycling Race began on 11 October around the central lake at Vinhomes Global Gate. Hanoi's culture and sports portal reports more than 500 riders from 28 clubs. Men competed in four age groups over 20–35 km, while women entered two age groups over 20 km. Each circuit measured 2.5 km, providing a competitive meeting point for amateur cycling clubs.
