iQiyi introduced a trailer for the AI series Bu Xian Yuan Yang Zhi Xian Xian on September 22, according to VnExpress, citing IT Home. Its characters use the licensed likenesses and voices of Shen Yujie and Chen Heyi, who did not take part in filming.
The report described it as the first long-form, realistic AI drama promoted in China. The announcement concerns a trailer and does not establish that the full series has begun streaming. The production brings actors’ digital likeness licensing into focus.
