French electronic duo Justice will compose the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, Variety reported on October 15. Alongside the announcement, the group released Flower in a Hurricane with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
A score alongside the soundtrack album
The new song appears on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album and is also a standalone Justice single. Further details about the duo's score are expected before the game and soundtrack's concurrent release, scheduled for November 19.
The commissioned score and the album's collection of songs serve different parts of the musical programme. The announcement does not mean every musical component has been unveiled or that the game is already available.
Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have been releasing soundtrack tracks in stages. Recent examples cited by Variety include Cardi B's Don't Chart and Fuerza Regida's Suzuki.
A broad group of contributors
An earlier six-song rollout included artists such as Yung Lean, Future, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Fred Again, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards. Those contributions sit alongside Justice's work on the original score.
The album is planned to contain 34 original tracks, with vinyl variants, CDs and retailer-specific editions. These are release formats rather than sales or player figures.
Justice consists of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. The duo released its fourth album, Hyperdrama, in 2024 before touring internationally, including a Coachella appearance. The GTA VI project follows that period, with additional score information still due ahead of the announced November launch.
