More than 200 delegates attended a national scientific conference on Vietnamese cultural values at the National Assembly House in Hanoi on October 10. Bao Van Hoa reported that the National Assembly's Culture and Social Affairs Committee and the Public Security Ministry organised the event, which received 68 reviewed papers. Discussions focused on institutions, heritage preservation, cultural industries and development resources. Organisers plan to compile the findings into policy recommendations for the relevant authorities.
