A FIFPRO survey of about 800 female players found that 49% were considering leaving football earlier than planned, the Guardian reported on 12 October. Among that group, more than half cited financial reasons and 46% psychological stress. Only 56% of respondents had an individual employment contract and 13% a club pension. The findings concern the surveyed players' working conditions. They do not mean those considering an early exit have already retired.
