Liverpool is continuing free shared-coach travel for supporters attending its Women's Super League fixtures for a fifth consecutive season. The club says Expedia supports the initiative, introduced before 2022/23 to improve access to matches.
Scope and booking conditions
The programme began with one coach for each of ten away league fixtures. It now includes two coaches for both home and away WSL games.
Supporters must hold a valid match ticket and reserve a place. Allocation is first come, first served, with bookings available up to two weeks before each fixture.
Pickup points are in Liverpool city centre and the Wirral. Home-match coaches depart two-and-a-half hours before kickoff; away departure times are confirmed during booking.
The free element is this scheduled transport. It does not include admission, flights or unrestricted Expedia travel.
Environmental figures are estimates
Liverpool links shared transport to its Red Way sustainability strategy. Based on this season's fixtures, the club estimates a 95 per cent emissions reduction within its comparison, 277 tonnes of CO2 equivalent saved and more than 1,400 car journeys avoided.
Those are the publisher's projected figures rather than an independent measurement of a completed season. The scope of the comparison matters when interpreting the percentage.
The announcement also directs supporters towards the Aston Villa trip and subsequent home fixtures. Ticket and seat availability still require checking for each journey. Continuing the scheme does not guarantee a place for every supporter on every coach.
