ANTV editor and presenter Thế Cương is set to judge the announcer-and-host category at the fifteenth People's Public Security television, radio and cinema festival. The event is scheduled for October 22–27, 2026, in Hanoi, and he will also host its opening at Hồ Gươm Theatre.

From launch bulletin to assessment work

Captain Nguyễn Thế Cương has worked with ANTV for nearly fifteen years. He presented its first news bulletin when the channel began broadcasting on December 11, 2011. A graduate of the National Academy of Education Management, he developed his pronunciation, pacing and emphasis after entering television.

Security reporting requires accuracy, emotional control and the ability to handle live situations. His professional outlook stresses editorial judgment and subject knowledge alongside vocal technique. The forthcoming jury role adds responsibility for evaluating and guiding other presenters.

Work beyond the television studio

He has also hosted traditional festivals and arts programmes, including Đền Trần, Côn Sơn–Kiếp Bạc, the Mrs Earth Vietnam 2024 final and a programme in Điện Biên. Different settings require flexibility while maintaining a disciplined style.

On digital platforms, he shares backstage material, speaking skills and everyday moments. The profile cites about 75,900 TikTok followers and 1.3 million likes at publication; these are time-specific platform figures rather than fixed audience measurements.

At the festival he is expected to join experienced colleagues including Mai Thao, Mỹ Uyên, Mỹ Vân and Hữu Bằng. At the October 20 reporting point, both the judging assignment and opening presentation were still forthcoming.
