US increases Vietnamese pepper imports as other markets cut purchases
The United States imported more than 44,100 tonnes of Vietnamese pepper worth USD 331 million in the first seven months of 2026, according to USITC data cited by VnExpress on 11 October.

The United States imported more than 44,100 tonnes of Vietnamese pepper worth USD 331 million in the first seven months of 2026, according to USITC data cited by VnExpress on 11 October. Volume rose 22.1% and value 21% year on year. Vietnam's share of US pepper import volume increased from 69% to 80.4%. Total US imports over the period were approximately 54,900 tonnes, worth USD 407 million.
