The second NBA Cup night of the 2026-27 season is scheduled to feature nine games, with teams from all six groups in action. NBA.com's November 6 preview listed the first tip-offs at 19:00 US Eastern time, or 07:00 on November 7 in Vietnam.
Those early games include Boston at Charlotte and Washington at Atlanta in East Group C. The slate also includes Minnesota at New Orleans, Philadelphia at Cleveland and Portland at the Los Angeles Lakers. The matchups and records below are from the preview; actual game status and results must be updated as play takes place.
East Group C and West Group B
Boston had won its Cup opener against Chicago and six of its previous seven games in the NBA.com snapshot. Charlotte was trying to avoid a second group-play defeat. Washington had won its Cup opener, while Atlanta was due to begin group play. Both games were scheduled for 07:00 Vietnam time.
In West Group B, Minnesota had beaten the Clippers in its Cup opener and was due to visit New Orleans at 08:00 Vietnam time. NBA.com said the Pelicans entered that game on a four-game winning streak. Oklahoma City and Memphis, also in West Group B, were another matchup on the slate.
Sixers and Lakers in focus
Philadelphia's East Group B visit to Cleveland was scheduled for 07:30 Vietnam time. The Sixers had eight wins and one loss in the regular season in the preview's snapshot and had previously rallied from 29 points down against Cleveland.
The Lakers were set to host Portland in West Group C at 10:00 Vietnam time. Los Angeles had seven wins and two losses in the report. NBA.com noted that no team had reached the knockout rounds with two group-play losses in the first three Cups; that history does not determine this season's qualifiers.
