Vietnam's women's team trained at Iwata Sports Exchange Village Yumeria Ball Stadium on September 15 ahead of their Asian Games Group E match against Japan.
Following the 1–2 loss to Chinese Taipei on September 14, midfielder Ngan Thi Van Su said the squad reviewed video, discussed improvements and regretted missed late chances.
She acknowledged Japan's strength but said Vietnam were mentally prepared, while thanking supporters. The match is scheduled for September 17.
