Two planned interregional renewable-energy industry and service centers in northern and southern Vietnam could deepen domestic value chains, according to a VietnamPlus analysis. The direction follows Resolution 70-NQ/TW and the revised Power Development Plan VIII, linking generation with equipment manufacturing, logistics, maintenance and training. The proposed model includes renewable plants with 2,000–4,000 MW of capacity, mainly offshore wind, alongside supporting services. These are planning components aimed at 2030 when conditions permit. The report does not establish that the centers have been built or that all investment has been secured.
