Nicky Wu said in a social-media video that he is no longer taking new acting projects, Thanh Nien reported, citing Sina. He described spending recent years travelling and exploring culture while shifting his professional focus towards music and work behind the scenes. He is still preparing singing activities to reconnect with supporters. His statement therefore concerns acting rather than a complete departure from entertainment. The music plans mentioned in the report remain forthcoming activities, not performances already completed.
