Nguyen Thi Oanh won the women's half marathon at the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon on October 4 in 1:21:44. Bui Thi Thu Ha finished second in 1:24:53. Huynh Anh Khoi won the men's full marathon, while Pham Thi Hong Le took the women's title. Oanh's victory came after her return from the Asian Games and represents a separate Hanoi road-race result, rather than another medal at the continental Games.
