Hanoi honoured coaches and athletes for their ASIAD 20 achievements at the municipal People's Committee hall on 12 October. The city's culture and sports portal says Hanoi contributed 15 medals, including involvement in all three Vietnamese gold-medal events. An award decision signed on 8 October covers 27 people: ten coaches and 17 athletes. Each receives a commendation and a payment equal to 1.5 times the statutory base salary under that decision.
