Nguyen Truong Quy has introduced Dau van tay cua pho, a book exploring Hanoi through the distinct character of its cultural spaces, VnExpress reported. Drawing on years of observation, notes and sketches, the work is organised into two main sections and considers old streets, place names, food and urban habits. Nha Nam and Hanoi Publishing House are releasing the book. Historical material is used to interpret the city's memory and identity, rather than presented as a new survey of current conditions.
