TTTT II Ninh Bình and Bình Định FC drew 1-1 at Đan Phượng stadium in Hanoi on October 19, completing the third round of Group A in Vietnam's 2026 national third-tier competition.
Both goals came after half-time. Nguyễn Văn Kỳ, wearing number 5 for Bình Định, opened the scoring in the 56th minute. Ninh Bình's number 88, Đinh Nam Tuấn, equalised in the 62nd minute. Neither side added another goal, leaving each with one point.
Six minutes separate the goals
Bình Định's advantage lasted only six minutes before Nam Tuấn restored parity. The match had started at 3pm and was refereed by Vũ Văn Điển, with Phạm Hải An, Nguyễn Ngọc Khánh and Lê Thanh Tùng completing the on-field officiating team.
The fixture followed the other round-three matches played on October 18. In Group A, Hà Nội Bulls beat Đội hạng Ba Hà Nội 3-1, while Tây Mỗ and Vạn Xuân Đan Phượng drew 1-1. VFF's report that day had Tây Mỗ leading the group with seven points from three games.
Four promotion places available
In Group B's October 18 programme, An Giang and Đồng Tháp each won 1-0, while STP Food TP HCM defeated Hồ Chí Minh United 2-1. An Giang and Đồng Tháp both had seven points in that report, one more than STP Food.
The competition runs from October 12 to November 9 with 12 teams divided into two groups. They play a double round-robin schedule, with the top two in each group earning promotion to the national second tier for 2027. The shared points at Đan Phượng therefore add to the teams' totals in a campaign with further rounds still to play.
