The 2016 television series Yêu em từ cái nhìn đầu tiên returned to Youku on September 24 under the new title Nhất tiếu khuynh thành. According to VnExpress, its production team used AI to replace Zheng Shuang's face on the character Bei Weiwei with that of actress Wang Chuyue.
Citing ET Today, VnExpress reported that the change affected only the face: the character's body, movements and dialogue remained from the original footage, while scenes featuring other actors were unchanged. The face replacement sparked debate online, with some viewers saying the result looked unnatural.
