The Vietnam Department of Geology and Minerals and Thái Nguyên’s Department of Industry and Trade held a legal-information conference on October 9, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reports. Sessions covered the Geology and Minerals Law and implementing documents, including mineral classification, competent authorities, forms and procedural deadlines. Participants also discussed resource management and financial arrangements for extraction. The event concerned implementing existing policy, rather than the passage of a new law that day.
