Vietnam's Industry and Trade Ministry held an October 9 conference on strategic technology development, emphasising products with practical applications. The ministry said its 2026-2030 plan covers 76 products in 22 groups across energy, industry and trade. Work on 47 products is assigned to begin in 2026. Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Son called for closer links between business demand and research capabilities, supported by monthly progress meetings.
