Jamie Gordon and Maggie Malina have launched Rommi, a studio focused on romance stories in vertical-screen formats, Variety reports. Gordon serves as CEO and Malina heads content, with plans to work with authors and adaptation partners.
Its first original production, Drive Me Mad, is scheduled for an October debut and is based on an idea by Ali Rosen. Announcing the studio and its slate does not establish that every project is complete or already available to viewers.
