The musical Su tich qua dua hau was staged at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on October 3–4, adapting the legend of Mai An Tiem. It combines Broadway-style theatre with Vietnamese culture through an international creative team and Vietnamese performers. Denis Dang plays Mai An Tiem and Myra Tran plays Princess My Linh. Broadway describes the artistic approach here; the actual performances took place in Ho Chi Minh City rather than New York.
