Participation planned for Singapore fair
Sun Group plans to promote Phu Quoc's meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions tourism at ITB Asia 2026, taking place at Singapore's Sands Expo & Convention Centre from October 21 to 23. The report describes plans announced before the event, rather than completed deals or a record of visitors to its stand.
The group's ten-counter exhibition area is intended to bring together representatives of Sun PhuQuoc Airways, Visit Vietnam and hotel businesses with travel companies, event organisers and technology partners. Phu Quoc is a central destination in the promotion ahead of APEC 2027.
According to Sun Group, accommodation, entertainment and island attractions can be combined with conferences, outdoor functions and group activities. Those are company descriptions of its tourism offer, not independent guarantees of event capacity or commercial success.
Hotels, aviation and digital tourism
The group also plans to introduce products in other destinations through its hotel, resort and airline network. Seven hotels or hotel groups are named for partner meetings, spanning Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Quang Ninh and Hanoi.
Sun Group and Visa intend to present the Visit Vietnam digital-tourism platform under a strategic cooperation agreement signed in September. The platform is designed to connect destination information, tourism products and services.
The announcement also refers to projects being developed for future event demand. They should not be treated as newly completed facilities solely because they feature in the promotion. Participation, partnership discussions and expected benefits remain distinct from signed sales or investments already delivered.
