Tây Mỗ beat Hà Nội's third-division side 3-1 in the delayed opening Group A fixture of the 2026 national third division at Đan Phượng on 13 October. VFF lists Lường Ngọc Anh, Trịnh Duy Long and Huỳnh Kim Huy as Tây Mỗ's scorers, with Đặng Công Anh Kiệt scoring for Hà Nội. The fixture followed the 12 October opening programme. It gives Tây Mỗ an opening win, rather than deciding promotion places.
