Thailand have selected Oman, Bahrain and Tajikistan as guests for the 2026 King's Cup, scheduled within November 9–17, SGGP reported. Vietnam and other Southeast Asian teams are absent from the reported line-up. The three opponents offer different tests for the hosts after the FIFA ASEAN Cup. SGGP quoted vice-captain Sarach Yooyen describing the traditional friendly tournament as an opportunity to pursue a trophy in front of home supporters. The competition remains an upcoming event.
