Vietnam's trade office in Indonesia has introduced a guide to BPJPH Decision 04/2026 on conformity requirements for imported Halal products, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reports. The introduction describes pre-shipment verification by a recognized body in the country of origin before the import declaration is lodged. The accompanying guide is intended to help exporters understand the detailed requirements. Its scope must be checked against the relevant text and annexes for each product, rather than assumed to cover all goods.
