Vietnamese referees and assistants have received appointments for several forthcoming international competitions, VFF announced on October 16. Assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong's assignment at the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia is among the main appointments.
Asian Cup and women's club football
Her duty period runs from January 1 to February 6, 2027. VFF describes her as the only Vietnamese female assistant selected for this men's continental national-team competition. The period covers an assignment rather than specifying one match.
Bui Thi Thu Trang has been appointed to Group A of the 2026/27 Asian women's club championship in Yangon, Myanmar. Ha Thi Phuong and Le Thi Ly will work in Group C in Qarshi, Uzbekistan, during the October 29–November 8 duty period.
These are announced appointments for future work, rather than completed officiating results.
Further November assignments
For U17 Asian Cup qualifying, Nguyen Nhut Quang and Nguyen Trung Hau will work in Group F in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Tran Huy Hoang and Pham Hoai Tam have Group G appointments in Salalah, Oman, with duties scheduled for November 5–21.
VFF notes that Nguyen Nhut Quang and Tran Huy Hoang are AFC Referee Academy course-six students seeking further advancement.
Ngo Duy Lan, Le Vu Linh and Nguyen Lam Minh Dang have appointments at the Tecno South Asian championship in Dhaka on November 5–17. Futsal officials Thi Ly Hoang Ha and Huynh Nguyen Thanh will work on Cambodia–Brunei friendlies in Cambodia during November 6–14, adding another route for international experience.
