Vietnam women’s team arrive in Japan for Asian Games preparations
Vietnam's women's team arrived in Japan on September 11 after training in Suzhou, China, for the final stage of its Asian Games preparations. The squad landed in Nagoya before traveling to its base in Shizuoka.
In China, Vietnam beat Jiangsu's women's club 1-0 and lost 3-0 to the Chinese national team. The friendlies gave coaches opportunities to assess players and tactics.
VFF lists Vietnam in Group A with Japan, Chinese Taipei and Thailand. Its matches are scheduled for September 14, 17 and 21 respectively against Chinese Taipei, Japan and Thailand.
