Vietnam’s under-16 team ended its CFA Team China 2026 campaign with a 3-0 defeat by Kyrgyzstan on September 30. VFF said the coaches fielded reserves and players requiring further assessment as part of preparations for the 2027 Asian under-17 competition.

Kyrgyzstan scored before halftime and added two late goals. Vietnam created chances, including two shooting opportunities for Trong Hiep, but could not score. The squad plans another training camp in December and two friendlies against South Korea’s under-16 team to gain further international experience.
