Strength and balance before international competition

The Brazilian specialist's programme addressed muscular strength, balance and tolerance of contact. The report links those aims to maintaining body position in individual challenges and handling sustained, high-intensity play. It describes the purpose of the exercises without providing individual fitness-test results.

Goalkeepers had a specific component involving controlled landings with weights. This work targeted lower-body strength, jumping and acceleration, abilities used when contesting aerial balls, making saves and moving around the goal area.

Tactical work and recovery form part of the plan

An afternoon field session was also scheduled, concentrating on tactical organisation and the team's playing approach. Before this update, players had taken part in nutrition education covering energy intake and recovery after exercise. Physical conditioning, tactical preparation and nutrition therefore feature together in the reported programme.

BongdaPlus places Vietnam in World Cup Group G with Mali, Belgium and New Zealand. The forthcoming camp and tournament give context to the increased physical work. The 14 October report establishes a preparation milestone; it does not establish tournament results or quantify the improvements of individual players.
