UOB has raised its forecast for Vietnam's 2026 GDP growth from 8.5% to 9.2%, VnExpress reports. The bank cites stronger-than-expected third-quarter activity and the contribution of manufacturing, investment and disbursed FDI. It projects roughly 9.7% fourth-quarter growth while flagging energy, trade and inflation risks. The 9.2% figure remains the bank's full-year forecast, rather than an announced year-end outcome or a Vietnamese interest-rate policy decision.
