Vietnam's aviation market carried an estimated 70.5 million passengers in the first nine months of 2026, up 12.6% year on year, according to a Civil Aviation Authority report cited by Bao Chinh phu. Air cargo reached about 1.3 million tonnes, a 13% increase. The authority forecasts roughly 94 million passengers and more than 1.6 million tonnes of cargo for the full year as airlines plan additional aircraft capacity. The nine-month estimates describe activity already recorded, while the annual totals remain forecasts.
