Vietnam and Cambodia set a goal of lifting bilateral trade to US$20 billion at an October 9 business forum in Phnom Penh, VnExpress reports. Trade in the first eight months reached nearly US$8.7 billion, the realised figure cited in the report. Both sides highlighted processing cooperation, logistics links and barriers involving tax, customs, transport and payments. The US$20 billion figure remains a growth objective dependent on further implementation of cooperation measures and projects.
