Vietnam recorded about $122.2 billion in cryptocurrency activity between July 2025 and June 2026, ranking second in Southeast Asia after Singapore, according to Chainalysis data cited by VnExpress. The measure tracks transaction activity across blockchain-related channels; it is not residents’ asset holdings, net investment inflows or government revenue. The report also highlights peer-to-peer activity across Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. Combined figures for those three markets cannot be assigned to Vietnam alone without country-specific data. The ranking describes the study’s measurement period and methodology rather than a valuation of the entire national economy.
