The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies says its centrally allocated 2026 social-housing lending funds have been fully assigned, leaving some branches unable to accept new applications, VnExpress reported. Of the VND6.305 trillion programme, outstanding loans reached VND5.104 trillion by September 25; about VND1.201 trillion remained reserved for disbursement under signed contracts. The bank is seeking additional central funding and local entrusted funds. The constraint concerns programme allocations and does not mean that disbursements on all existing contracts have stopped.
