The 12-team field for the 2027 Women's U17 Asian Cup was completed on 11 October. Hosts China join direct entrants North Korea, Japan and Australia. South Korea, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines qualified, giving Southeast Asia five representatives. Tuổi Trẻ reports that the draw is planned for December, with the finals scheduled for 31 March–17 April 2027.
