Yassir Zabiri was named LaLiga’s Under-23 Player of the Month for September after scoring three more goals for Racing, taking his 2026/27 league total to six. It is the Moroccan forward’s first win in the category.
Zabiri scored twice in Racing’s 2-1 comeback victory over Alaves at El Sardinero, then scored and assisted in the 7-2 loss to Barcelona. He finished ahead of finalists including Pau Cubarsi and Alberto Moleiro, succeeding August winner Javi Hernandez of Espanyol.
