The 2026 Mu Cang Chai Ultra Trail concluded with an awards ceremony on October 4 after four days of competition involving approximately 3,600 runners. Distances ranged from 12 km to 160 km, and the 75 km event hosted the Asia Trail Master 2026 final. Mountain routes, terraced fields and villages shaped the experience. Connecting the event with tourism promotion is an objective, rather than evidence of a measured increase in tourism revenue.
